In late 2018, the Duchess of Cambridge repeatedly presented elegant hairstyles held together by a black velvet ribbon. The hairstyle has been mimicked in the past by some actresses like Sienna Miller (37, "The Rush of the Stars") or Margot Robbie (28, "I, Tonya").

And the Kate effect on the red carpets continues: At the Golden Globes Oscar winner Nicole Kidman (51, "Big Little Lies") joined her colleagues and presented a glamorous Chignon-Dutt to her skin-tight, wine-red dress which was decorated as a highlight with a black velvet bow.
But she earned not only praise from fashion critics. Some experts criticized that the loop on top of the topknot was strangely placed on Kidman.
