"Do you believe in yourself, do you also convince others?"

ChroniquesDuVasteMonde Academy talked to Angela Michael about her work as a media trainer. She will hold a workshop on September 28, 2017 at the ChroniquesDuVasteMonde Academy Job Symposium.

ChroniquesDuVasteMonde Academy: Why did you become a media and performance coach? ?What is wrong with her moved to it?
Angela Michael: Because I think it's great to help my clients trust themselves in important performances like interviews, speeches or presentations, burn for their own point of view and get the most out of themselves.

What has made you particularly successful in your job life?
Through my appearances as a TV presenter and as a reporter, I have learned to approach people in an open and unprejudiced way. Through the intensive training and coaching of clients in various positions - from division heads to federal ministers - I have learned a great deal about what holds them back, what motivates them and how I can support them in their appearance.

Was there a phase in your (job) life in which you have one change of direction have made?
I hung my career as a TV journalist on the proverbial nail for an uncertain future as an independent media trainer and coach? and I've never looked back.

Which impulses were particularly important to you?
The realization that the greatest critic is in ourselves and, above all, often prevents us women from assuming more responsibility with courage and self-confidence. I want to contribute with my workshops, this inner critic? Healthy? to shrink so that he no longer stands in the way of strong performances.

Were there phases of doubt or setbacks? What did you in these moments especially helped?
The change from the permanently employed editor to the insecure self-employment was slow at first. My great passion for the topic, the belief in myself as well as the empowerment of important people helped me to stay tuned and succeed as a performance coach.

What was the most encouraging sentence in your (job) life and why? Do you want to to pass that on? // Is there a motto of yours?
Do you believe in yourself, you also convince others!

What awaits visitors to the ChroniquesDuVasteMonde Academy Job Symposium in your workshop?
I want to encourage the women to be good enough for the next step in their careers and not to be perfect for that. But not only the content matters, but also the packaging, ie the presentation: As a performance coach, I name the decisive factors and give the participants practical tips to successfully present themselves in front of their audience. Dare!
