Blushadow: This is the most beautiful beauty trend of spring

Blushadow? Sounds like a post-apocalyptic series on Netflix. But you may suspect: That has absolutely nothing to do with it. The beauty trend Blushadow (yes, it's about make-up!) Is a combination of blush and eyeshadow. Sounds adventurous, is it? at least a bit. We'll tell you what's behind the trend.

Blushadow: That's behind the trend

With this new beauty trend, you really do not need eyeshadow, because your rouge will affect both the eyes and the cheeks. And that's how a really spring-like look is created in super few steps. Celebrity make-up artist Jillian Dempsey has launched the trend. She styles celebrities such as Emilia Clarke, Kirsten Dunst or Jennifer Aniston.

That's how it works

If you want to wear the trend, you do not have to pay much attention: Take two blushes of your choice. One should be more subtle, the other a bit more gaudy (but still in the same color family). The brighter color you wear on the cheekbones, the temples and the outer outer eyelids. You connect cheeks and eyes with each other. But watch out! If you take too much color, the look can quickly look sickly. Therefore, we recommend you rather neutral rosewood tones, which are neither too intrusive nor too intense. The slightly more intense color you apply in the end only on the apple cheek, so that the freshness effect is somewhat enhanced.

According to Jillian Dempsey, cream textures are generally best suited for this technique. Because: This is just the most natural and gives the skin a nice glow. As for the colors, you can of course experiment. If you like to wear a lot of rouge, then you will definitely love this trend. And not only in spring!
