"Absolutely unrealistic": Video by Jens Spahn upset nurses

The young nurse worries about her patient, an old man who painfully misses his family. He leafs through photo albums sadly until he finally falls asleep. When the nurse sees the photos of the family in the snow, she wants to help: She drives into the mountains and brings a ball of snow to the old man. He can hardly believe his luck and shines it with a grateful smile as she hands him the snow globe. End, credits and finally the words: "Care is more than a job".

With this video, Health Minister Jens Spahn thanks all nurses for their work on Facebook. The spot can currently also be seen in the cinema.

Jens Spahn writes:

Nurses take care of others 365 days a year. And even a little more at Christmas time. Thank you very much for your commitment, dedication and passion.

The Federal Ministry of Health writes about the video:

"The nurses in the country are doing great things in nursing homes or hospitals every day, so we want to show what makes care so special." Director Alain Gsponer tells a touching story with actors Laura Berlin and Horst Westphal human moments that often turn exhausting work into something very valuable because: care is #more than just a job ""

Many nurses are grateful for the praise and appreciation of their hard work in the comments. For example, a woman writes:

Thank you Mr. Spahn for tackling this big problem. It will not be easy, nor will it be from today to tomorrow. In any case, I wish you that you can steer this as quickly as possible in good hands.
