"Your friends" about alcohol, lewd mothers and moments in which children annoy

"Your friends", that's Flo, Lukas and Pauli, three thoroughbred musicians, who make sure that even in the nursery only plants with proper bass are accepted. They are almost as popular with parents as they are with their offspring because they have added the category "Current Kindermusik" to the subcategory "Good Music". Fat beats, intelligent oilseed rape and a burst of irony strike grateful (because very starved) audiences in the nation's nations. "Your friends" fill huge concert halls. They vehemently reject a pedagogical assignment. All the more surprising that in interviews only comfortable and child-friendly questions are asked. We've got the others ... and got amazingly honest answers.

Say, Flo, I read a lot of interviews from you in preparation. That was quite interesting, but I was wondering why you are always asked only super comfortable questions. Is not it interesting, if you do not want kids? Or do you sometimes tilt one before your performances?

I do not know it either. Does it interest you?

Definitely!

Well, then ask uncomfortable questions.

Do not worry, that's what I planned to do. Someone has to do it finally ...

Yes, then just do it.

Well. First question: Are you even taken seriously in the music industry?

Meanwhile, yes, because in this industry, success is taken seriously. That makes us happy and of course you also feel like a brush when you get recognition. But it's not really that important. Of course, there are always some people who dismiss what we do as children's stuff. But that does not really burden us so much, either. It's ok to find things shit. Finally, we take the right out of the law and we also concede that to everyone else. If you publicize your work, you have to live with criticism, right? At the moment we have so much popularity that we can say in a relaxed voice: "Find us shit, you're in the minority!"

You're right. One thing I also think shit: If I tell my daughter to clean up, she sometimes answers with a lyrics from you ...

Do you clean up yourself? (Laughs)

Exactly. That's really annoying. What do you do when your own son uses your text against you?

What do I do then? Live with me, that I have created this burden. Maybe I would try to trick him manipulatively or something. Nah, honestly, I'm ready to fight these fights. I am a beautiful stubborn and find it rather exciting, if the children will show me my limits at some point. Oh, what am I saying, I'm sure this will happen. Presumably they will win. I'm getting older and tired.

Have you ever regretted another text passage?

Do not regret it now, but question it. In "Nonsense with sauce" there is this sentence "I have seen Jesus". I did not think about it that much at the time, I saw it more as a phrase. But I underestimated that. A very faithful friend of mine later explained to me in a cool way why he did not like the phrase in the first place. I saw it immediately and I think the line is a little stupid now. Especially since it does not really fit well with the rest of the text anyway.

Would you curse in front of children?

Well, what does cussing mean? So, a "shit" may slip out of my children before, "son of a bitch" only among adult good friends. I think there are more important educational goals than keeping the vocabulary clean.

In "No Fairy Tales" you are not exactly squeamish about the good old German fairy tales. Have you ever received fury letters from the Grimm descendants?

No, luckily not. But let me put it this way: A family that pulls much of the family's earnings from old stories full of moral appeals should not write fervor. From time to time there are a few insults and criticisms of our song lyrics in social media, but they make us happier. And I have not seen any posts from the Grimms yet.

Which song is your worst?

Unfortunately the cover of the birthday song by Rolf Zuckowski. Rolf is our friend and we would always jump for him in the breach. Therefore, it annoys us in retrospect all the more that we have verkackt the cover. That was just too calculated and not good enough. If you already do a cover, which we usually do not do, then it should be damn cool. In that case, the original is simply better by far. We do not play this at concerts any more.

Hand on heart: children sometimes have a bad taste in music, right?

Really now? Do you find? So most of the kids I know have a good taste in music.Even if you hear Helene Fischer, you have to say honestly, at least you have a good sense for hits. Although, not at all, there are children with a bad taste in music. A boy in our kindergarten just likes the songs of David Garrett. He finds our songs stupid. I try to convince him. But that's a wall. I'll stay tuned anyway.

Do you drink alcohol before you go on stage?

Uh, so we would never get drunk. But theoretically it could be that there is a band whose ritual is to throw a tiny, clear vodka behind the bandage before the performance. It could be. But you do not know.

Do not you feel embarrassed?

Nearly nothing. We have little fear of their own abysses and talk openly about it. I think embarrassing brings each other closer, at least when the other person is with them. And you know, so many embarrassments have happened in my life that it would be really tragic if I had to be ashamed of everyone.

Speaking of embarrassing. How do you find your children's musician colleagues?

There are not so many points of contact, to be honest. Once a year, everything that has a name and rank in the children's music scene is invited to an Austrian festival. That is always very funny. As for their music, I'm a smartass when it comes to music. I do not find many things cool and I'm also a hip hop nerd. There are a lot of children's music that I find uncool. But that does not mean that you have to become hostile.

Say, have you ever received clear offers from mothers?

Personally, not now, but when we were at the AIDA, a down-to-earth, slightly cross-eyed mother kept touching Pauli and making him pretty clear offers. That was really borderline. Luke and I were very sorry, because the last person you should do something with is Pauli. He does not know what to do in such situations at all. Otherwise, we honestly have not received any offers. Now the mothers are also with their children at the concerts and it is not that they could go for a beer afterwards. After listening to the last sound, the organized family life continues immediately. Well, that's how it is as a family bond.

Probably true. That's how it is as a family bond. Do not you have any time for kids in between?

Yes I have. I think it's also important that you not only admit it, but also concede, just to wish his shitty peace.

Does it bother you to have children?

The intensity sometimes annoys. That which makes it emotional with one. Having kids is great, no question, but depending on how you feel about it, sometimes it can be a burden. Because in life, nothing has ever been more important to me and no task has been greater.

Do you like all children?

Well, so there can only be one answer. Children are people and sometimes you meet people with whom you can not do anything or who are not very nice to you. Even small ones. But that does not make me so crazy with kids. If I do not like a child very well, it would never realize it. I think that children should generally not be too impulsive. They perceive situations much more intensively.

You have been working in Kitas for many years. What did you not know about children before you became a father?

How much you can love her.

Mothers who have spontaneously but now feel like catching up on their missed groupie career can try their luck here (P.S. Pauli is taboo!):
