Without models: Our title women in an interview

ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: How did you hear about the "Without Models" campaign?
Anja Frenkel: At the end of October, the ChroniquesDuVasteMonde fashion editor Sabine Eichstedt called me, where I introduced myself a year ago and asked if I would like to have a fashion show in the ChroniquesDuVasteMonde "Without Models" campaign. Of course I had heard about it in the press and of course I felt like it!
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: What was your motivation to join the action?
Anja Frenkel: Curiosity. Something new to try something different. Just do it and see what happens.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: And how did you react when you learned that you were being photographed on the ChroniquesDuVasteMonde cover?
Anja Frenkel: A ChroniquesDuVasteMonde cover was not even considered. But because the shoot went so well, the photographer should just hand in a few cover suggestions. However, I did not pursue this and calculated no chances for me. All the more, of course, I was happy when I got the call. And when I found out which of the eight photos you chose, I was totally surprised. To have a highheel in the mouth and to get on the cover, that's awesome.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: Were you very excited before the shoot?
Anja Frenkel: I was curious about what to expect, but not really excited. I had a good feeling from the beginning. In addition, I had the photographer and the fashion editor already two days before at a dinner get to know. So I knew about who and what to expect.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: Did you enjoy slipping into another role?
Anja Frenkel: It was a new exciting feeling. I just let myself in and had fun with it.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: Did you find it difficult to relax in front of the camera and the team?
Anja Frenkel: No. The team was great, the atmosphere was pretty relaxed. I felt in good and professional hands.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: What did you enjoy the most?
Anja Frenkel: Exploring a new profession while at the same time discovering parallels to my work as an architect, such as the handling of color, light and surface. And of course the abundance of positive reactions after publication of the magazine.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: Did you get the taste in the end?
Anja Frenkel: Of course, always happy!
