Winter table decoration

"Not everyone wants to marry in May, or even in spring, or in the summer." In the meantime autumn and winter are announced, and that's a good thing! We Miss von Miss K. says yes start here once a campaign for the winter wedding and have a few nice, simple DIY-things in the luggage.Something wintery, but not too rustic.Winter-Christmas colors with lots of breezy white. For a sunny winter wedding just ...

So, dear winter brides and all the others who want to celebrate extensively in winter: To the printer? finished ? Come on. The basis of the tinkering are blue and red patterns, which the dear Kerstin of www.sanvie.de designed for us. Here they are available for download. "

Winter table decoration: 1) Beautiful light with paper lanterns

For this we have printed the pattern on one side of stronger A4 paper (for example 160g / m2). Fold the paper lengthwise in the middle. From the fold, cut about 1-2 cm wide strips. But do not cut completely, but leave an edge of at least 1 cm.

Then unfold and glue the short sides of the incised pattern sheet together. Fix the adhesive edge better from above and below with paper clips for a few minutes so that it does not come loose again.

Put a glass with tea light in the lantern and it already spreads warm light. And because it's so fast, the lantern gets company in other patterns and sizes.

Winter table decoration: 2) flag ahoy? The fast garland

This garland variant is so tinkered that the instructions fit into a set: print the pattern on a sheet of address labels, cut into different widths strips to glue a matching tape and then miss the still very boring strip with scissors each an individual flag look ,

Oh yes: And with a few flags from blank address labels, there's room for the initials of the bridal couple in no time at all.

Winter table decoration: 3) Keksalarm? Pretty packaging for crumbly party favors

For these nice biscuit bags we have misused office supplies: The biscuits will go for an extensive tasting in a commercial CD case made of paper and are closed with a printed folder back plate (we have used Avery Zweckform No. 3689).

The one end of the banderole in the transparent window is adorned with an oval sticker with a special thank you and the name of the bride and groom. To avoid greasy stains, you can also simply wrap the biscuits in cling film before you pack them.

With this uncomplicated packaging definitely more time for lovingly self-baked cookies out.

Winter table decoration: 4) Pimp your muffin? caketopper

Now you can combine: Print a slightly thinner paper (for example 120g / m2) on both sides with different patterns and cut into strips about 1 cm wide.

These strips are then pepted on shashlik skewers? in circles, waves, devoured, just a strip, several strips glued together or or or ... after a bit of sampling, you'll find great works of art.

At the end of the spit wander two stickers with the names of the bride and groom and the wedding date. Looks chic and is also good for other delicacies.

For all those who are sad now, because they do not marry and do not even have to prepare a girlfriend's wedding: The patterns are doing well everywhere and who says that there must be the names or initials of a bride and groom?

Miss K.s wish you a Merry Christmas? with or without a wedding!

Katja and Kerstin are the two Ks behind www.fraeulein-k-sagt-ja.de. Strictly speaking, they are no longer misses, because both have already said "yes". In their blog, they present their ideas for newlyweds, groomsmen, friends, parents-in-law, and everyone who finds weddings simply beautiful.
