Which type of intelligence are you?
Every person is different. And so each of us is different in a different way. Harvard Professor Howard Gardner has developed a model for which there are nine different forms of intelligence. Which one is closest to you?
1. The nature-related intelligence
Are you very close to nature? Do you love, for example, walking in the woods, camping or hiking and you are very fond of animals? Then you belong in this intelligence category. You have a special sense of nature and you also see details that are denied to others. And, of course, you're protecting the environment because it's very close to your heart.
2. The musical intelligence
You can call yourself musically intelligent if you love music, have a sense of rhythm, compose songs, play an instrument, or sing. Also, you can memorize great tunes, and you notice it instantly when someone plays a crooked tone.
3. The logical-mathematical intelligence
Math and logical thinking is your hobby. You love tricky strategy games like sudoku and can think very conceptually and abstractly. Earlier in school you were probably just called "Super Brain".
4. The existence-intelligence
What's the meaning of life? Where do we come from and where do we go? You like to think about such questions, because you are interested in the existential things in the world. You are just a little philosopher and question everything and everyone.
5. The social intelligence
If somebody is feeling bad, you will notice it immediately. Because you are incredibly empathetic and sensitive. That's why you can talk so well with you? You always try to put yourself in the other and look at it from a different perspective.
6. The body intelligence
Not only do you enjoy doing sports, you can do it well too. In your motor skills you are superior to others. You are full of energy and actively go through life. Put your feet up? That's nothing for you!
7. The linguistic intelligence
You love words! You learn a new language incredibly fast and you love to write - maybe you even work in the industry. Grammar mistakes are immediately noticeable and you have a large vocabulary.
8. Self-directed intelligence
Many people have problems to listen to themselves. You can do that perfectly. You understand your own needs and feelings, you are a master of reflection. Moreover, you are more perfectionist and can work best when you are alone.
9. The image intelligence
It's easy for you to think abstractly and in pictures. You therefore like to use metaphors in your language. Plus, you love to try and draw 3D puzzles. Spatial thinking? An easy one for you!
