"Time heals all wounds" etc. - These proverbs are for the ass!

1. Time heals all wounds.

First, that's the craziest consolation ever. Somebody who is bad at saying that it is guaranteed to get better if he or she only waits long enough helps zero.

Second, that's just not true. For all those people who work hard to heal their wounds through years of therapy because of trauma or other mental health problems, this saying is sheer mockery.

Anyone who has ever lost a loved one, may also have had a contrary experience. For with every day, with every experience that one wants to share with this one person, longing becomes greater and the finality of being separated becomes unbearable.

2. Everyone is smith of his luck.

Basically, it is true that we can achieve a lot by our own efforts. And we can even turn just about anything by our attitude almost anything positive.

BUT: Is anyone who is in the shit, even to blame? Because he's too stupid to pick up the hammer and turn gold into shit?

No, no, no. Sometimes life just plays ass cards, and almost every person has to pull one. If we are dissatisfied or unhappy with our life situation, that does not mean we are weak and blame ourselves.

We can direct, influence or take much that we can get away with. But if we do not succeed, it has absolutely nothing to do with inability.

3. Other mothers also have beautiful sons.

As if that would help with lovesickness ...

4. Speech is silver, silence is gold.

In which situation is shut up please the royal road? Misunderstandings are only cleared up by talking to one another. One can relate position only by expressing one's opinion.

Of course, people who say nothing are comfortable. But is it always best to make it comfortable for others?Should not we say something, for example, when we hear someone rushing against minorities?

The only case in which this saying applies is when it comes to keeping secrets that have been entrusted to us.

5. An Indian knows no pain.

Received guys and men especially like to say so they do not show their feelings, because showing emotions is oh so unmanly and weak.

Only stupid, that suppressed pain often catches up with us again and eventually recoils all the more violent.

Also stupid that when other people inflict pain on us and we do not show any signs of it, they always do it because they do not know what damage they are doing ...

6. He who digs a pit for others falls into it himself.

Naturally. Because the world is righteous by itself and punishes everyone immediately if he or she does something bad to others. That's why we have such an extensive legal system and so many policemen.

In truth, people often do well with it when they beat or intrigue others in the pan.

And if the saying is to serve as a deterrent, that is an indictment. After all, we should not treat others well because we are afraid of falling on our own, but because it goes without saying that you do not harm anyone!
