This swimwear is for women after a mastectomy

Stefani Nennecke is a power woman: the election hamburger ran her own agency and moved in the world of media and photography until she received the diagnosis "precursor breast cancer". After the third diagnosis, she decided to ablatio and quickly realized that the swimwear from the medical supply store is not necessarily suitable for model owners. Quickly the idea for own swimwear collection and their label Ipanii was born.

"Above all, the self-confidence of women who have breast cancer needs to be rebuilt, which was an incentive enough for me," says Nennecke.



The first collection will be released this autumn and will be produced in Germany, in a manufactory in Bavaria under fair working conditions. The main material used is recycled fishing nets, which also make swimwear sustainable.
