Why can you definitely say that, even if we do not know what's wrong with Anna? Quite simply: either, Anna is married, or she is not married. If she is not married, it is immediately clear: Peter (married) looks at Anna (not married).
The alternative: Anna is married. Of course, then Peter does not look at anyone who is not married - aaaber: Anna is then even involved and thus applies: Anna (married) looks at Michael (not married).
There are only these two possibilities - and thus: Yes, a married person definitely looks at an unmarried person.
