This breakfast is supposed to fill French women with the whole day

Croissant and coffee? Not even close!

Sure, the combination of croissant and coffee love many Frenchmen - really full, and in the long term, this breakfast does not. The French author Mireille Guiliano prefers a "magic breakfast" whose recipe is still from her grandmother. Her "Power Petit Déjeuner" contains the following ingredients:

  • Juice of a lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of flaxseed oil
  • 1 teaspoon acacia honey
  • Yogurt (best homemade)
  • 2 tbsp oatmeal
  • 2 tsp walnuts

Lemon juice brings the metabolism in the morning in the morning, flaxseed oil provides as a secret weapon for a stable weight. Oatmeal and walnuts provide the necessary energy - and thanks to acacia honey, it tastes like a dessert.

Although the combination sounds extremely delicious, but if they really "all day" enough, we dare to doubt.

Tip: Our breakfast recipes give you extra power to start your day. And that really works!

The slim secrets of the French

Mireille Guiliano lives with her husband Edward in her adopted New York. Nevertheless, she has remained true to her French roots and writes as an expert books on the slim secrets of the French. "Why French women do not get fat" and "Why French women look younger" are international bestsellers and - by the way - entertaining to read. That's why French women are slim.
