The "Literary Quartet" and Marcel Reich-Ranicki

He polarized and clattered with passion - often with a wagging finger, always with clear, straightforward words: On 18 September 2013, at the age of 93, the literary critic and Holocaust survivor Marcel Reich-Ranicki died in Frankfurt am Main. 77 times he directed "The Literary Quaret", which was broadcast from 1988 to 2001 on ZDF. His enjoyment of reading and his desire to argue made Marcel Reich-Ranicki the most famous and probably the most feared literary critic in Germany.
