The back-to-back dress
That's how it works:
The clothes are very easy to sew by stacking two square squares and closing them at the shoulder seams and the side seams.
The basis: square cloths from H & M (approx. 10 Euro each)
Step 1: Two fabric squares (or, as in our "cloths" dimensions 130 cm x 130 cm) on top of each other turned over. At the upper edge, stick out 48 centimeters to the left and right of the edge to form a neckline (see drawing).
Step 2: For the two side seams now from the upper edge of 30 centimeters offset offset start with the staking, on both sides at a distance of 15 centimeters to the side edge. Stop about 40 centimeters from the lower edge, so the side slits arise.
Step 3: Sew the staked areas together. Same procedure for the children or doll dress. Cut the cloth, adjust the size to size by measuring the child from the shoulder to below the knee, this length then gives a side length of the starting square.
