Surprise Baby! This mother (19) only learned that she was pregnant 45 minutes before the birth

She had taken the pill and had no idea that she was pregnant, says Emmalouise Leggate from Scotland. She was neither sick in the morning, nor had she ever had cramps or felt her baby. That her period stayed away pushed the young woman on the pill. Although she had gained some weight overall, but never had a noticeable baby bump.

One evening, according to her own statement, the young woman went to bed with a flat stomach and woke up with a clearly rounded baby bump, according to Metro UK. It was the 17th of July. Only 45 minutes later, her baby was born ? a girl, the second baby for Emmalouise.

When Emmalouise woke up with the big belly, she called her mother, who in turn alerted her grandmother. The grandma then took her granddaughter to a hospital in Glasgow. There she parked in the parking lot, Emmalouise stayed behind in the hospital while her grandmother ran to find a midwife.

When her grandmother came back to the car with midwife, Emmalouise had already given birth to her child ? in the back seat of the car.

The baby bump had really popped up this morning. When I was in the car, I had my contractions every two minutes and then my amniotic sac blistered.

When her grandmother discovered her and the baby in the car, she was in shock. "Luckily she had a large blanket in the trunk that we could cover up with."

Emmalouise gave her little daughter the name Ciara. "Fortunately, everything is fine with her," says the young mother loudly "Metro UK". "I'll definitely tell her when she's older, her birth certificate says she was born outside the hospital."

Unrecognized pregnancy: how can that be?

Not notice a pregnancy until the baby comes? Hard to imagine, but actually not that rare. What can it be, if a woman does not notice her pregnancy, explained to Eltern.de the Berlin gynecologist and psychotherapist Peter Rott.
