Suddenly at the kiosk!
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde.com: No sooner does ChroniquesDuVasteMonde start "Without Models", the first editor lands on the title. How did that happen?
Stefanie Höfle: With my colleague Sabine Rodenbäck I just did my job: A beauty shoot in London, for which we visited trend hairdressers. The only new thing was that firstly we did not produce in the studio, but live in London. And that we ourselves were the "non-models", including two readers. So I was a model of four. That it should be the cover story, we knew. That my pictures were given to my colleague Katja Sachse, who takes care of the ChroniquesDuVasteMonde cover, I knew too. But then I heard nothing more ...? and did not think about it anymore. Until the day we presented the trend hairstyle range of our editorship and hung ten title variants with my head there on the wall. I was totally scared and immediately got hectic red spots on my face. It's a funny feeling to know that you are being watched by a lot of people for a short time. Also a bit scary.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde.com: Do you like it?
Stefanie Höfle: I'm very strange, because my hair is completely smoothed in the picture, otherwise I always have slight Naturlocken. But I like the look.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde.com: And? Do your friends recognize you? Are you approached by strangers in the subway?
Stefanie Höfle: My friend Verena called yesterday from England and was really excited. Of course, my close friends recognize me, but friends have to look twice, I think. Strangers have not touched me yet. But I'm also very happy about that.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde.com: What does your family say about the title?
Stefanie Höfle: My mother always finds me pretty, that's the mom job. She was even more excited than me when Issue 4 came out and is very proud of her daughter. My brother said he would stab me if I was not his sister. Some friends have already mentioned him, he always says that's in the family, and grins.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde.com: Did you actually receive a fee for the release - just like all the other women that ChroniquesDuVasteMonde now photographs instead of models?
Stefanie Höfle: No, I'm an employed editor and was photographed in my working hours.
