Study shows: Men really think about marrying
A dreamy church, a magical dress with train and a carriage that drives the newlywed couple through the city ... hah, weddings are beautiful! For anyone who is waiting for a request of the loved one, this should, however, be a small damper. The online dating agency eDarling has done in cooperation with Hochzeit.com a survey of 1000 singles. The result: Men think differently about marrying than women.
- Almost one in four men considers the concept of marriage old-fashioned and obsolete. But only one in ten women believes that.
- Almost 40 percent of men say marriage is the logical consequence of a relationship. Similarly many women find that it is more "timely and up-to-date".
- 16 percent of men marry for tax or legal reasons alone - twice as often as women!
- For 85 percent of women, love is crucial for a wedding. However, only 76 percent of men say so.
The wedding party as a dating site
If you are not (yet) under the hood, you should not be afraid of a wedding invitation. But on the contrary. The marriage of the girlfriend is a great opportunity to meet even the dream man. According to the study, 65 percent of men and women are convinced that such a party is the perfect opportunity for flirting. Interesting: 20 percent of the men bring their date right to the wedding party? Women prefer to accompany someone from the family or friends as an accompaniment.
