Star Wars: The Last Jedi: Harry and William get their big performance

Even before "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" hit cinemas in December 2017, it was reported that British princes Harry (33) and William (35) would make guest appearances in the film. They visited the set in 2016 - standing in front of the camera as stormtroopers. Leading actor John Boyega (26) aka Finn chatted that he had made a scene with the princes. In the theatrical version, however, this was not to be found. But fans can watch the whole thing from the sofa in April ...

Tom Hardy also gets his cameo

The royale guest appearance is to be present according to British media reports in a "Deleted Scene" on the 26th of April appearing home cinema version. The scene features John Boyega, Kelly Marie Tran alias Rose and Benicio del Toro as DJs during their mission to a First Order base. Already in the first few seconds it can be seen that two of the stormtroopers in the background are larger than the rest - which might point to the princes. They are said to have been cut out of the movie as they are larger than the rest of the stormtroopers.

In the scene, there is a conversation between Finn and a stormtrooper - it should be Tom Hardy (40, "Taboo"), which speaks in a South American accent. The royals are silent.

Disney has already announced that there will be "14 additional scenes never seen before" on the home theater version. It also features exclusive insights into the digital transformation of Andy Serkis (53, "The Lord of the Rings: The Companions") in Snoke, and a 90-minute featurette takes all fans behind the scenes. "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" comes on DVD, Blu-ray, as Blu-ray 3D Steelbook and 4K UHD Blu-ray in the trade.
