Silvia Wollny: "For me, my children always come first"

With the slogan "Sylvana, Sarafina, Estefania, Calantha, Loredana, Sarah Jane, Lavinia, Jeremy Pascal, please come down to the dining room?" Silvia Wollny (52) became known on German TV. Since yesterday she is the winner of "Celebrity Big Brother" 2018, because 57.1 percent of the audience voted for the blonde. The news agency spot on news told Wollny, where her funny sayings come from, why she would grant Cora Schumacher the victory and what she advises young mothers.

They always had funny sayings such as "The pope can clap his ass cheeks". How do you get into that?

Silvia Wollny: I do not know, it just comes to my mind. Did I say that? (laughs) That comes spontaneously ... Hopefully the Pope did not look that way, otherwise he will soon be standing on the stage with his back to us.

Their cheese-crisp confession sounded really delicious. Was it really that bad?

Wollny: That was more than bad. It was hard to get away from the cheese addiction because, apart from the cheese chips, I could not eat anything else. That was not good for the body and almost drove me crazy.

You said that you were poor with your first child. Do you have tips that could help others in a similar situation?

Wollny: My first child was only 18 years old. The child I got in June, my first apartment was in September. I actually had only a stroller, a coffee machine and a blanket, with which I could cover myself. Incidentally, I had jobs, I bought used furniture. When my children see the photos from earlier today, they say to me, "Mom, you've had it great and smart."

So you obviously could not do much out of it?

Wollny: Yes, I remember the first time Christmas with my child. I had bought an artificial fir-tree and simply put it out of the box in the room. What I did not know: that one kicks off the branches in front of it. I had the balls on it and it looked funny. Well, I was in the same sense a teenager and had not much experience of the big world. In the end, we have mastered our lives super.

What do you advise young mothers?

Wollny: My first child was not a wishful child, my life had completely changed after that. I did not celebrate any more, got jobbed to feed ourselves. My dad used to say, "Better a child on the pillow than one on the conscience." It must be 100 percent clear that you give someone the life and you have to take care of it. I can not put a child into the world and then neglect it. For me, my children always come first.

You said that you want to make a profit for teenagers on the street. Are there concrete plans?

Wollny: We will not rent our apartment at the end of the year, but let up to six young people live there. They should then go to school and get the opportunities that others get as well. We want to pave the way for them not to crash and get in touch with drugs or prostitution. We hope that works.

Back to life with "Celebrity Big Brother" - What was the hardest moment in the house for you?

Wollny: At the construction site, living in the basement. Because there was no help offered. I was only allowed to take four things with me: a mop, a pack of cigarettes, a small lamp and a bathrobe. I shared my things with the others, but ultimately they did not lend me anything. It was cruel for me to live in a community where I can not get help from others. After all, I also offer my help if you need it.

If you did not win, who would you best win?

Wollny: I would have allowed the victory to the Caro (editor's note: Cora Schumacher). She could have recovered well with the money. She has her own problems and that goes to health, so I perceived that for myself. She was a very sincere person in the house.
