She will die soon: Maria-Sophie (17) wishes for a white coffin

This fate goes to the heart: The 17-year-old Maria-Sophie from Hamburg has cancer - she will die. Maybe soon. Whether she can celebrate Christmas with her family again is not certain.

Maria-Sophie suffers from so-called Ewing's sarcoma, metastases have formed in the pelvis, bone marrow, lymph nodes and lungs. There is no chance of healing anymore.

The "Hamburger Morgenpost" has accompanied the fate of the sick teenager - and now publishes the last great wish of Maria-Sophie: She wants to find her last peace in a white coffin.

However, her family can not afford this wish: The girl's mum has given up her job for the care of her daughter, the family lives by Hartz IV.

Now the "Hamburger Morgenpost" has set up a donation account and asks for support. The response was overwhelming: Countless readers took part in the fate of the girl and helped.

And even the last wish of the girl is apparently coming true: A Undertaker has come forward and wants to provide the coffin and take over the funeral service for Maria-Sophie.

For the girl, it is a relief on her last trip - we firmly believe in her and wish her that Maria-Sophie does not have to suffer.
