Rare ultrasound photo: What looks cute at first, could have ended fatally

Even doctors rarely see such a picture. A 30-year-old has a 2.5-centimeter "sack" during her pregnancy? formed on the uterus, which grew according to the journal 'The New England Journal of Medicine' up to 19 centimeters.

A small rupture in the uterus could be the reason for this blistering. The hole filled with amniotic fluid and the skin sack sticking out, but that was not the only thing out of the ordinary. If you take a closer look at the ultrasound image from the 22nd week, the baby's legs are visible in the bladder.

Even if the photo is really a rarity, it could not have been good for the mother. A complete uterine rupture or a replacement of the placenta could have been the bad result.

But doctors were able to deliver the baby in the 30th Week by caesarean section - and both the mom and the child are fine. Since the mother previously had a caesarean section five times, a possible connection is not excluded here. The important thing is: everyone is well! And you will never forget this recording.
