Peter Dinklage: So his role Tire Lennister says goodbye

"Game of Thrones" is in the final round in 2019. The HBO series will end after eight seasons. At the premiere of his new HBO film "My Dinner with Herve" in L.A., Peter Dinklage (49) tells "ET Online" how he finds the already wacky ending and how satisfied he is with the fate of his character Tyrion Lennister.

"There are no better authors in the television landscape than Dan Weiss and David Benioff, they have done brilliantly, better than I ever hoped, and you'll like it," Dinklage said in the interview, complimenting the showrunners in the series. With the farewell of his character, the actor is also satisfied: "It ends wonderfully for my character, whether tragic or not." For his role Tyrion earned the actor great recognition and received in 2011, 2015 and 2018 Emmy as the best supporting actor in a drama series. Concrete details to the last episode in feature length does not exist yet. At the earliest from the spring of 2019 will be expected with the last six episodes.
