"Overwhelming": Daniela Büchner posts open letter on Instagram

Daniela Büchner (40), the widow of deceased docu-soap star Jens Büchner (1969-2018), has written an emotional letter to "fans and friends of Jens", "Goodbye Deutschland" spectators and media representatives and published it on Instagram. In her first post after his death on 17 November in a clinic in Mallorca, she first thanked for the "overwhelming concern in the past 10 days".

Next she writes:

Jens would probably rub his eyes in wonder and ask 'Do they really mine?' Yes, my darling, they really mean you!

Dear fans and friends of Jens, dear viewers of Goodbye Germany, dear representatives of the media! I miss the right words to thank you. I am overwhelmed by the sympathy they have given us over the past 10 days. Jens would probably rub his eyes in wonder and ask, Do they really mean me ?? Yes, my darling, they really mean you! We are starting a new chapter now with the closing of the funeral. We try to come to rest, to process what happened and to find enough strength for a new beginning. Daniela Büchner's request for the future

Daniela Büchner and Jens Büchner met in 2015, became parents of a twin couple in 2016 and married in 2017. She brought three children from the first marriage into the relationship, he had a son from a relationship and two daughters from his first marriage.
