Only two percent of German executives who are members of a supervisory board are female. The Initiative Generation CEO, founded by personnel consultant Heiner Thorborg, wants to change that? including a support program for female executives seeking a position in top management. Each year, about 20 women are selected, who can put together an individual training and coaching program with the prize money of 15,000 euros. "Most applicants do not come so much because of this budget, but are primarily interested in becoming a member of the network," says network member Christine Graeff, partner in the international consulting firm Brunswick Company.
