Michelle Hunziker: That's why she's such a big Otto fan
For more than 50 years, Otto Waalkes has made (69) millions of Germans laugh - across all generations! Many celebrities come out again and again as big fans of the East Frisians. On the occasion of his 70th birthday on July 22, Michelle Hunziker (41) found special words of affection in conversation with spot on news.
"The first comedian I laughed about as a child was Otto Waalkes," recalls the Swiss. She has found the stories around "Hänsel und Gretel fell in love with the forest" and the Ottifants at Otto's start times particularly funny. "I thought he was so great, he had a stage show and I looked at everything, I became a big fan of him and I still am today", enthuses the presenter.
