Make leather bag yourself - how it works:

Difficulty: heavy

1. Draw a rectangle of 77 x 40 cm (height x width) on the leather with a ballpoint pen, cut out. 2. Fold the leather together in the middle, so that it lies right to right. Stitch pages with 1.5 cm seam allowance. 3. In order to be able to sew off the narrow side panels, fold the pocket into a triangle at the lower ends of the side seams (see template). The side seam sits in the middle and points upwards. Where the triangle base is 7 cm wide, stitch the bottom sides. 4. Turn the bag over.5. Slightly cut off seam allowances at upper pocket opening.6. Sew off the entire edge of the bag with a gap of approx. 4 mm from the opening, press the seam allowances apart, and sew on.7. Draw four holes for the eyelets. Measure 11 cm from the side edge to the middle and measure 2.5 cm from the pocket opening at the bottom. 8. Hammer holes and eyelets according to instructions. 9. Cut 2 leather straps each 3.20 m per handle. 10. For a handle, double-place 2 straps and pull the loops from the outside to the inside through the same eyelet. Now lie on the pocket outside 4 strings with open ends next to each other. The two inner cords should each be about 65 cm long, the outer ones for weaving the knots about 2.5 m long (see template).

The instructions for the knot of Makramé handles (each 30 cm long) can be found here. The instructions for the diplomas see template.
