Look in foreign refrigerators
Sophie Greve (21), a student at the Institute of Design in Hamburg, did just that. Friends, acquaintances and relatives opened their fridge door for them. Cheating was not possible - she insisted on snapshots. Nevertheless, everyone participated. "Many said that the fridge looks quite different and of course I just stopped by before the big purchase", says the young photographer. Make yourself a picture:
Fanta and beer, sausage and fruit gnomes - this refrigerator belongs to a 37-year-old woman and a 6-year-old girl.
With her fridge photo series, Sophia Greve has been the subject of the photo competition of the DAK and the Institute of Design Hamburg "What does nutrition mean to you?" won the first prize. The 29 best pictures are currently being shown in the Federal Press Office in Berlin (Visitor Center of the Press and Information Office, Reichstagufer 14, opposite the S-Bahnhof Friedrichstraße exit hours: 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, closed on weekends, admission free) Afterwards, the exhibition will be touring for three years through Germany (for dates see www.dak.de)
