Lena Gercke: Because of this detail of her body, she was bullied

With her natural style, her honey blond hair and her super-elegant figure, model star Lena Gercke is a role model for many women. But as a teenager Lena was not at all happy with her character. In a conversation with the Hamburger Morgenpost on the occasion of the presentation of her Christmas collection "LeGer Festive Collection" she now revealed that her extraordinary size made her as a teenager worried:

I was tall, thin, lanky. Next to my friends I looked like a giraffe. My nickname was 'Raffi'.

The super-popular "Germany's Next Top Model" winner of 2006 is said to have even taken out of her sneakers the soles to be one inch smaller. At 15, she had gone to the doctor worried and asked him where her growth would lead.

Luckily her size of 1.79 meters helped Lena to a modeling career like that out of fairy tales and exciting TV jobs, such as the moderation of the casting show "The Voice of Germany".

Today self-doubts are over and Lena is very happy with herself and her body. She likes to show her fans on Instagram unvarnished and with disheveled hair. She wants to encourage her to show herself real and without filters.

Today is the day where i will start to post more pictures like this. No filter, no retouch, no photoshop. Some of you want to get it, some of you will like it. But this is me and this is reality. I'm sick of all these fake retouched pictures i see everywhere. Being honest to you is the real me desires. Unfollow, if you do not want to see it, use the hashtag #therealme if you want to share the journey with me. Love, L ??
