Instructions for a knitted coat with hood in sizes S / M / L
Material:1500/1600/1700 g purple wool, Fb 0090, "Tierra" quality (45% merino wool, 37% acrylic, 18% polyamide, 48 m / 50 g run length) by Lang Yarns, 6 brown buttons (30 mm diameter, order code) No. 672010) by Union Knopf, knitting needles No. 9.
Note: It is possible that the given wool can not be bought anymore. In this case, you are looking for a similar quality. Please note the specified run length and do a stitch test!
It is knitted with double thread.
Pattern: smooth right (right rows, back rows left).
Aperture pattern (over 5 M): 1 st at left, 1 st at right.
Bund pattern: with needle No. 6 2 M right, 2 M left alternating.
Knitting tension: Knitted in the basic pattern results in 9 M x 13 R = 10x10 cm.
Back: Cast on 48/52/56 sts and knit in basic pattern. For the sidecut remove 20 cm from both sides on both sides 5x 1 st in each 6th row = 38/42/46 sts. 55 cm from both sts inc 1 st on each side = 40/44/48 sts. Sleeve: Cast on 23/25/27 sts each and knit 9 cm in the waistband. Continue to knit in basic pattern, increasing 2x1 sts on both sides every 10 cm = 27/29/31 sts. For armpiergels, remove 44/42/40 cm from collar on both sides in each 2nd row of 1 st until a ball height of 11 / 13/15 cm, bind off the remaining sts.
Bags: Cast on 15 sts and knit 18 cm in the waistband. Sew on the pockets 14 cm from the hem and 10 cm from the front edge.
