Knit cardigan without buttons
Instructions for a cardigan without buttons in size S / M / L
Material: 200/250/250 g olive green Fb 0098 "Mia" (80% alpaca, 20% polyacryl, running length 125 m / 50 g), 100 g olive green Fb 0097 "Mohair Luxe" (77% mohair, 23% silk, running length 175 m / 25 g) by Lang Yarns. Knitting needles No. 7 (if you knit loosely) or 8 (if you knit tight - it is important that you come to the information in the stitch). 1 crochet hook No. 7.
Note: It is possible that the given wool can not be bought anymore. In this case, you are looking for a similar quality. Please note the specified run length and do a stitch test!
The jacket is knitted with double thread, one thread "Mia" and one thread "Mohair Luxe".
Smooth right (GR): Rowing right, back rows left.
Mesh test (GR): 11 M x 17 R = 10 x 10 cm.
Back: Cast on 51/56/61 sts and work in GR. Mark the beginning of the armholes 44/43/42 cm from the stop on both sides. Cast off 16/17/18 cm from marker of armholes for shoulders in each 2nd row 5x3 / 3x3 + 2x4 / 4x4 + 1x3 sts on both sides, cast off 3 cm from beg of shoulder taper for neckline on center 9/10/11 sts finish both sides separately, while doing so, bind off 2 x 3 sts in every other row at the cutting edge.
Left front: Cast on 43/45/47 sts and work in GR, bind off at left edge in every 4th row 28 times 1 st. Mark the beginning of the armhole 44/43/42 cm from the stop on the right side. 16/17/18 cm from the marking of the armhole, slant the shoulder as in the back.
Right front: Knit the same way as the left front piece.
Sleeve: Cast on 25 sts each and knit in GR. For the arm bevel on both sides increase 5 x every 7.5 cm / 6 x every 6 cm / 7 x every 5.5 cm 1 st = 35/37/39 sts. 45 cm from the stop for the arm ball on both sides in every 2nd row 3 Bind off 4 times and cast off 1 st 3 times, then cast off the remaining 5/7/9 sts.
elaboration: Close the shoulder, side and sleeve seams. Crochet the entire cut edge (starting at the lower corner of the right front piece, to the bottom corner of the left front piece) with a R sts. Sew in the sleeves.
