Knit a thin mohair sweater
Instructions for a thin mohair sweater in size S / M / L
Time spent: 26 hours.
Material: 100/100/125 g gray-black Fb 204 "Kidseda" (70% kid-mohair, 30% silk, length 210 m / 25 g) by ggh. Knitting needles No. 5 (if you knit loosely) or 6 (if you knit tight). It is important that you come to the information in the mesh test.
Note: It is possible that the given wool can not be bought anymore. In this case, you are looking for a similar quality. Please note the specified run length and do a stitch test!
Smooth right (GR): Rowing right, back rows left. In rounds always right M.
Mesh test (GR): 16 M x 22 R = 10 x 10 cm.
Back: Cast on 98/104/110 sts and knit in GR. Mark the beginning of the armholes on both sides 34/33/32 cm from the stop. Cast off 15/16/17 cm from edge of armholes for shoulders on both sides in every 2nd row 10 x 3/7 x 3 and 3 x 4/4 x 3 and 6 x 4 sts. 6 cm from the beginning of the shoulder bevel for the neckline, bind off the middle 22 sts and finish both sides separately, at the cutting edge remove R 2 x 3 and 1 x 2 sts in every other row.
Front: While knitting the back piece, bind off the center 14 sts for the neckline at the same time as the beginning of the shoulder taper and finish both sides separately, then bind off 1 x 3, 2 x 2 and 5 x 1 st each second row in the second row.
Sleeve:Cast on 30/34/38 sts and work in GR, increasing 9 x 1 st at each side for 4.5 cm = 48/52/56 sts. Cast off all sts from sts at both sts.
elaboration: Close the shoulder seams and pick up 112 sts at the neckline for the rolled edge and knit 8 cm in the GR, bind off all sts loosely. Close the side seams. Close the sleeve seams and sew in the sleeves.
