Jennifer Aniston: Her new film has many parallels to her childhood
Jennifer Aniston (49, "We are the Millers") has explained in an interview about her next movie "Dumplin '", which parallels he has to their lives. The Netflix strip is about a mother-daughter relationship in which the overweight daughter of a former beauty queen challenges beauty standards in society and her mother by participating in a beauty contest.

Asked by the Sunday Telegraph if the relationship is similar to that of Aniston and her mother, she said, "Where should I start?" Aniston's mother Nancy Dow was an American actress and model.
Similar to her character, Dow was all about good looks and presentation, as Aniston explains. That put her under pressure as a girl: "I was not the model kid she wished." In the film, she recognized many parallels to her own childhood: "This little girl just wanted to be seen and loved by his mother, who was too busy with things that really meant nothing."
The film is a matter of the heart
Aniston's message of the film is therefore an affair of the heart: "This film is so special because it is about dismissing the preconceived notions of beauty, becoming an individual and not trying to reach an unrealistic ideal that the society exemplifies. "
Beauty does not come from perfect skin and model dimensions: "What makes you feel beautiful is the people around you and the life you live, and maybe a good-hair day." Dumplin will be available on Netflix on December 7th.
