Janet Jackson: singer performs at the Glastonbury Festival

US singer Janet Jackson (52, "That's the Way Love Goes") is after eight years absence finally back in the UK play. And on time for the tenth anniversary of her brother Michael Jackson (1958-2009). An insider told the British tabloid newspaper "The Sun" that the singer is said to have signed a contract with the Glastonbury Festival for the first time. "Janet is reviving her career this year and thought it would be the perfect opportunity," the source quotes. An official confirmation is still pending.

The Glastonbury Festival is considered the most versatile pop music festival in the world, with well over 100,000 people celebrating at Worthy Farm in southwest England. Among other things, there were already music icons such as the Rolling Stones, Coldplay, Metallica or Adele. The festival will take place this year from June 26th to June 30th. Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009.
