MATERIAL:
Lang Yarns yarn, "AlpacaSuperlight" quality (54% alpaca, 24% polyamide, 22% wool, running length approx. 199 m / 25 g): 50 (75/75) g each in pink No. 19, coral No. 28 and Zyklam No. 65.
Knitting needles 5 and 5.5 and an arbitrarily long circular needle 5 and 4

Knitting children's cardigan - how it works:
STYLE PATTERN: Knit 2 sts and 2 sts in alternation.
BASIC PATTERN: See scheme:
Only the notes are drawn; knit the sts in the back as they appear. For all parts knit 1 edge st each side. Repeat 1st to 24th rounds.
MESH TEMPLATE: With needles 5,5 and 2 threads in the basic pattern: 15M and 26 R = 10 cm x 10 cm.
BACK PIECE:
Cast on 54 (62/70) sts in coral with 5 needles and 2 needles, and knit in rib, starting from row 1 st, garter st, 1 st in stocker, finish with sts and finish with st. Continue to knit 4 cm in height using 5.5 and 2-needle needles in Zyklam basic pattern.
When piece measures 39 (43/47) cm, cut off the middle 12 (14/16) sts evenly on both sides and cast off on each side in each 2nd row 1x 2 sts 1 time.
When piece measures 42 (46/50) cm, bind off the remaining 18 (21/24) shoulder sts.
LEFT FRONT PART:
Cast on 27 (31/35) sts in coral with needles 5 and 2 threads and knit in rib pattern, beginning with edge st, 2 sts left and finishing with st in garter st. Continue to knit in 4 cm height with needles 5,5 and 2-ply in pink in the basic pattern.
When piece measures 25 (28/31) cm for V-neck 1x1 sts, then every other rst (9/10) x 1 sts; knit until 4 sts before end of row, then knit 2 sts, 1 st in edge st. When piece measures 42 (46/50) cm, bind off the remaining 18 (21/24) shoulder sts.
RIGHT FRONT PART:
Knit the same way, i. for the cuffs, start the 1st row with edge st, 1 st, 2 sts and finish with 2 sts, edge st. For the cut-offs, knit edge st and 1 st, then cast off 1 st, knit 1 st, and pull off the raised st.
SLEEVE:
Cast on 30 sts in pink with 2 needles 5 and 2 threads and knit in rib pattern.
Continue to knit in 4 cm height with needles 5,5 and 2-ply in coral in basic pattern. Increase the sleeve slants on both sides in each 8th round R7x1 sts (every 6 rows R10x1 sts each 6 rows R13x1 sts) = 44 (50/56) sts.
When piece measures 28 (32/38) cm, cast off all sts evenly.
Knitt the second sleeve as well.
PREPARATION:
Stretch the parts and allow to dry under damp cloths. Close the shoulder seams, sew on the sleeves, then close the sleeve and side seams. For the panel with the long circular needle, knit 2 rows in Zyklam from the front edge of the jacket and the back neckline approx.176 (192/204) sts (M-number divisible by 4) and knit in ribbed pattern, the 1st back with edge st, Start 2 rounds and work with 2 sts left-side ends. At a height of 2 cm, work 4 buttonholes on the right front piece. The first in about 2 cm height, the remaining 3 at a distance of about 7.5 (8.5 / 9.5) cm. Bind off 2 sts for one buttonhole and re-attach the miter edges R again. Cast off the sts in 4 cm panel height. Sew on the buttons.
