In Faubourg, the events are dramatically increasing: Milou comes through his role as leader of the striking workers (historical background of the film is the formation of the so-called popular front government in 1936, which caused all of France weeks of mass strikes and plant occupations experienced) at risk. Much more explosive, however, is his fight for Douce with the mighty rival Galapiat, for whom there seems to be only one outcome: one of them has to die.

"Paris Paris" is a very special movie. This is not least because of the gorgeous Chansons by Reinhardt Wagner and Frank Thomas, "Paris Paris" is so wonderfully romantic French - but fortunately never too much. We are suffering with Monsieur Pigoil on his long "path to happiness" and hope together with Jojo for a happy ending and a quick reunion with his beloved father. Cinematographer Tom Stern shows us with his pictures an unforgettable Paris. And all together, Cinematographer, composer and director have come up with "Paris Paris" Feast for eyes and ears created.
