Important recall at Aldi: Salmonella danger in sausage!

Which product is affected?

The sausage manufacturer Hans Kupfer & Sohn has the 'Salami Piccolini Mediterran' recalled.

Affected is the mini salami with the Best before date 22.10.2017 as well as the Lot number HKS169171, The sausage was sold in stores of the Aldi Nord chain of stores exclusively in Berlin and Hamburg, as well as in the federal states of Brandenburg, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Schleswig-Holstein.

What do I expect when I eat this?

In isolated samples of salami Salmonella were found, so the manufacturer calls the product back as a precautionary measure. Salmonella can cause severe gastrointestinal diseases such as Cause diarrhea. Consumption is therefore strongly discouraged.



What can I do as a customer now?
