If you get this Whatsapp message, DO NOT click it!

"So sweet" - two harmless words that make everyone curious. Especially when they come from the best friend! But here is nothing sweet - we are well on the way to fall into a nasty trap!

Because behind the message, which is just "So cute", is a link that should abluch us our personal information!

This is how the new lousy Whatsapp mesh works

The website Mimikama, which deals with false announcements and traps on the Internet, warns: If you click on the link in the message, a new, romantic emoticons for Whatsapp are promised. In order for the cute little pictures to be "automatically installed", you just have to click on "Share" and forward the message to 10 people or in three groups. This is also the reason why we get this false news from our friends - they fell for it themselves!

If you pass the message on and click on "Next", you will not get the great emojis, but you will be prompted to enter your details to participate in a jackpot sweepstake or similar.

At the latest at the place the alarm bells should be shrilling: Here only someone wants to fish your data off! There are no emojis!

Why is this trap spreading so much right now?

The clever trick that the people behind this trap use this time around: with the short message "So sweet", they arouse the curiosity of the recipients - above all because the message is indeed from a friend.

Curious, we almost automatically click on the nasty link. And the sweet emojis, who really everybody would like to laugh at, laugh at us. And of course, everyone would like to share with his girlfriends - this is how many people simply pass the message on.

The request to forward the message to three groups is especially sophisticated: In our whatsapp groups like "Kindergarten Mommies", "Yoga Class" or "Family Chat", a lot of people are bustling around - that's how the scammers reach them in one fell swoop more victims.

So what should I do if I get this message?

The answer is simple: just ignore it! Do not be curious, ignore the message, and, for example, refer the article to the friend who sent you, so that she knows that she has fallen into a trap.
