"I only like snapshots!"
See Kathrin here in our bikini order fashion spread!
Kathrin Röttger, 30, animator at the Robinson Club on Fuerteventura
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: What do you think of our "no-models-action?"
Kathrin Röttger: I'm curious every time. Who is in it? I used to only look at the pictures, now I also read the fashion texts.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: Where did you approach our Scouts?
Kathrin Röttger: You asked our boss. If you feel like, could sign up.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: And? Did you feel like joining immediately?
Kathrin Röttger: I thought about it for a day. Actually, I'm too small with 1.60 meters? and I do not like being photographed privately.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: Seriously?
Kathrin Röttger: There are no pictures taken of me. Only snapshots. But then I thought: If you get such a chance, you have to perceive it.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: Then you were excited before the shoot ...
Kathrin Röttger: Yes, very much. In the mirror I found my make-up bad, the red lips and the water wave in the hair. And of course I also thought about the poses: How does that look?
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: And? How did that look then?
Kathrin Röttger: Wiebke, the editor, showed me some photos in advance? and there the make-up looked very different, much better. That calmed me down a lot.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: Did you like the shoot?
Kathrin Röttger: It was very funny because we were so many. For the route "Bikini Beauties" a whole group from the Robinson Club was photographed. The photo team was also very nice and the mood relaxed from the start.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: You are a trained clothing technician. What do you say to the ChroniquesDuVasteMonde bikini you wore during the shoot?
Kathrin Röttger: The turning bikinis are a great thing. They are beautifully finished and the material feels good.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: And what job do you do at Robinson Club?
Kathrin Röttger: I mainly work in the boutique, occasionally helping out in the restaurant or taking on small roles in our dance shows.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: Did you learn that too?
Kathrin Röttger: No. Before the Robinson Club I had nothing to do with the theater. That was one of the reasons why I decided to work here. To become more open and to approach people.
ChroniquesDuVasteMonde: That definitely helped you with the shoot.
Kathrin Röttger: Exactly! And who knows what this experience is good for?
