How this 5-minute exercise helps you lose weight

Many people have a problem with controlled and conscious eating. This, in turn, causes them to swallow chips or chocolate bars? and gain a lot of weight. To break this vicious circle, we have a small mindfulness exercise that helps you to be aware of food. Training is done with a single raisin.

Raisin exercise helps with weight loss

As nutrition expert Charlotte Thaarup emphasizes in the conversation with the "New Idea" magazine, you only need five minutes to consciously feed you? and thus to lose weight permanently. This is how the so-called "raisin exercise" works:

  1. Take a raisin in your hand and mobilize all your senses.
  2. Take a close look at the raisin, notice the texture and the color.
  3. Feel it in your hand.
  4. Smells at the raisin.
  5. Focus on the taste and the feeling when the raisin is between the teeth.

The goal of this exercise, of course, is to train conscious eating to slow yourself down when eating. The focus should always be on the food itself. Only then do you consciously pay attention to when you are really full. Watching TV, the internet and radio should be taboo during the meal as it distracts you and leads you to ingest too much.
