"It was well known that privacy is not so high on Google, Facebook and Co. I was shocked, however, when I learned about the extent of the targeted evaluation of personal data by the US? and every day new details come to light. It's about the evaluation of emails, chat, photos and videos, log in? So the most personal data, very private communication! Like in a prism? therefore the name of the program? these data are merged, evaluated in the prism, and then bundled. German citizens are probably particularly affected. According to the US government, the program mainly serves the fight against terrorism. The monitoring by PRISM goes far beyond the limits of the acceptable. Citizens thus lose confidence in the security of their privacy in the network. The notion that anyone who uses Google or Facebook is suddenly one of those people who are monitored nationwide is really scary. I am here for security with a sense of proportion within the limits of our rule of law.

How can we protect the privacy of citizens while ensuring effective law enforcement and security? What do we have to do together at European level? Here, the data protection must be massively improved. Here we need strong alliances? beyond the borders of Germany, because the network does not stop at national borders. At the same time, do we want to oblige online services to provide better privacy protection? and already in the standard setting.

The Internet is the basis of a networked society. Being well connected means being able to work from any location? and with that, many family and professional lives can be better reconciled. It also means being able to use good education online? at any time and at any age. The new educational formats of international universities are really great? for example, the websites Udacity or iUniversity. Being well connected also means finding like-minded people and participating directly in socio-political discussions? and that is a vision of an open, transparent policy based on participation and participation. New participation formats are created here, such as Website Adhocracy. This is a good direction for social interaction. "
