Germany's next top model: The bad luck remains Team Thomas loyal
Ten small models have been at the beginning of the latest issue of "Germany's Next Top Model". And just like in today's completely politically incorrect counting rhyme, there were only nine shortly thereafter. Candidate Zoe often provided for her fellow combatants for discussion, blasphemy and sometimes even bad blood. Until the current issue, however, it always delivered in the eyes of the jury. But at the end of the day Heidi Klum (44) had to say disappointed: "Today was like the first day". Such regression was punished with the tearful expulsion.
Showers on Hollywood Boulevard
"We're going to take a shower for a few more hours," was Klums's ("naturally successful") motto for the unusual shoot on Hollywood Boulevard. In Los Angeles fashion photographer Christian Anwander snapped the young models - much to the delight of male passers - on a well-visible vehicle while showering in a tight bikini.
Not an easy task for some candidates: the water-shy Klaudia with K was not with her with the cool water and should be "a little bit more sexy", while the cold Pia burnt down with a body temperature of 37.2 degrees. And Zoe did give her the human potential and a little bit more - "I shot myself, thrown my hair, wobbled my butt" - but still received damning shower reviews from Klum and Anwander.
Germany's next influencer
So while Pia had to deal with a mild influenza, Klum and Co. sought the best influencer among the female candidates. This quality was in demand for the mega-job that the ladies were able to get hold of in the joint summer campaign of Venus and Braun. "I begrudge it the most," Model Christina said, putting out her best Dagi Bee performance. And lo and behold - she actually prevailed against the nine competitors and got hold of the lucrative deal.
Although only Christina triumphed, it went for all models after the public coaching. Many of the girls sometimes afforded deep insights on their social channels long before participating in the show or bluntly reported on their sex lives. For a potential winner of "Germany's Next Top Model", such showmanship is of course a great find for the media. Even though Klaudia immediately asserted: "I would never spread my legs and show my mumu!" A good start.
Great outfits, polished bald heads
At the final walk in front of the jury, the models were given artificial bald heads and gigantic, impressive and colorful outfits. Not every one of them felt comfortable in this extravagant suit. It was not that ultimately Zoe had to pack her model suitcase. In the competition between Team Michael and Team Thomas it is thus 6 to 3 in terms of the number of their protégés.
