German Chic: We are looking forward to these designers!

Esther Perbandt

Despite her tenth anniversary, Esther Perbandt remains one of Berlin's avant-garde designers. Her radical cuts, the fusion of different materials and androgynous elements characterize her collections and make them very special from season to season. We congratulate and look forward to the next ten years Esther Perbandt!

VONSCHWANENFLÜGELPUPKE

Eleonore von Schwanenflügel and Stephanie Pupke have earned a reputation as foulard queens with their label Von Schwanenflügelpupke. On their beautiful cloths are bean peas, cabbage, cucumbers or artichokes. Prints also set the tone for her women's collection.

Augustin Teboul

Annelie Augustin and Odély Teboul are the undisputed queens in terms of bleak avant-garde. They never present their fashion on the catwalk, but always in fulminant off-locations as a spherical fashion installation. They create a world to our liking: dark, mystical and of a fragile beauty.

Malaika Raiss

With her latest collection Malaika Raiss made the leap from the niche to the front row: her fashion is highly modern, with a girlish-romantic side - cool and playful at the same time. What Malaika Raiss thought up for next winter? So much is to be betrayed: It becomes earthy - rich green meets warm reddish brown and is accompanied by opulent gold jewelery. If you can not wait until the show, check out ChroniquesDuVasteMonde every day until your show, when Malaika Raiss gives an exclusive look into her studio via Instagram.

Anne Gorke

The young Weimar woman Anne Gorke is only a short time - and still amazed herself about her prompt success. This is not unfounded: it designs beautiful eco-fashion. Your artichoke print this summer has hit like a bomb. The cotton they process comes from controlled growing areas in Turkey, the silks come from an Indian plantation, where the caterpillars do not have to lose their lives in the extraction.

Isabell de Hillerin

Isabell de Hillerin combines modern cuts with traditional craftsmanship. Details of her designs, such as lace or patterned borders, are made in manufacturing plants in Romania and Moldova. That looks terrific and is sustainable thought. And when the designer brought some older ladies from Moldova to the stage last year after her show, she completely conquered our hearts.

Umasan

Anja and Sandra Umann are identical twins and the founders of the Berlin label Umasan. Their claim: to design sustainable, social and vegan high fashion. Sounds complicated, but her creations are the exact opposite: clean and timeless. They rely on innovative materials such as bamboo or soy-based.

Perret Schaad

No question, we are deeply in love with the reduced and avant-garde design language of Johanna Perret and Tutia Schaad. Their show in the summer before the New National Gallery was clearly one of the absolute highlights of the last Fashion Week. Your new collection for fall / winter? We can not wait for her ...

Lala Berlin

Leyla Piedayesh and her label Lala Berlin can safely be counted among the old Berlin rabbits. She delivers an umgestierte collection after another, their shows are among the highlights of every Berlin Fashion Week. Yes, we can not free ourselves from the "Lala hype" - and are as curious as a bow.
