Game of Thrones: director and actor for prequel are set

The "Game of Thrones" Prequel does not yet have a name, but now the director and producer S. J. Clarkson and other actors are certain. As reported by "E! News", these are Naomi Ackie, Denise Gough, Jamie Campbell Bower, Sheila Atim, Ivanno Jeremiah, Georgie Henley, Alex Sharp and Toby Regbo. Which roles they will take over is not yet known. The actors Naomi Watts (50) and Josh Whitehouse (28) were already confirmed last year for the prequel.

The project was written by Jane Goldman (48) and original serial author George R.R. Martin (70) and plays several thousand years before the events of the series, which is completed with the 8th season this year.



According to HBO, the series' history is about "the descent of the world from the golden age of heroes into the darkest hour". Everything from "the terrible secrets of Westero's history to the true origin of white wanderers, the secrets of the East and the legendary Starks" should be told. "It's not the story we think we know."

Also co-author George R.R. Martin orakelte in conversation with "Entertainment Weekly" already to the prequel plot. "Westeros is a very different place, there is no King's Landing, there is no Iron Throne, there are no Targaryens, Valyria has barely begun with its dragons and the great empire they are building, we have it with another and It will be part of the fun of the series and hopefully it will be part of the fun of the series, "said Martin.
