From the other end of the world

It all started with the fact that she grew up under the entry lane of the Düsseldorf airport and thus had to suffer chronically from wanderlust.

After a backpacking trip through Argentina, she thought back then, with a trip to New Zealand would have to heal (further away is finally not). However, after three months of WOOFing (Willing Working on Organic Farms), it was exactly the opposite effect.

She then completed her psychology studies 50% in Germany and 50% in Australia (the DAAD had sent her there twice ... and it was the right hemisphere after all). Canberra and Brisbane have been home and still are a bit - but since October 2006, she has landed exactly where she wanted to be in her travel diary: in the City of Sails, where nowhere longer than 15 minutes from Pacific is removed.

Shortly before leaving Germany in January 2005, she met the man for life, who luckily had the same goal and since August 2008, a real New Zealander has been born.

Right now she's in the process of creating the mix of being mommy, being a paid psychologist, and finding the perfect wave ... with the long white clouds often offering many surprises and oddities, but definitely lots of entertainment.
