Emma Watson: Women's rights are important to her

Emma Watson (28, "The Circle") is known for her passion for women's rights. In her latest post on Instagram she wished her followers a nice "International Women's Day". Regardless of whether "marching, dancing, rising, resisting, protesting, striking, confederating or celebrating". In 2014, Watson was even women's rights ambassador to the UN, and in the same year gave a moving speech in which she campaigned for women. She is currently signing an open letter with 76 other public figures. This letter calls on governments around the world to ensure the safety and support of women's rights activists, as the Guardian reports.

In her picture Watson, apparently at home, stands barefoot on a rug. One arm holds her in a winning pose, in the other she holds a bunch of lilies. The flowers probably did not choose them arbitrarily: the lily stands symbolically for femininity among other things. The fans are thrilled: "Thank you for being one of my greatest inspirations, Emma.", Writes a female user.
