Doctor Who: As long as the fans have to wait for the next season
The eleventh season of "Doctor Who" has just fluttered across the screens at the BBC. And the next highlight is already in sight: There will be a special of the series on New Year, the new season will be available in Germany in early 2019.
So there is still enough stuff. After that, however, first idle is announced: One year fans will have to wait until 2020, the twelfth season appears. The makers have earned the break, as showrunner Chris Chibnall explains, "Hollywood Reporter" says, "We're free again, although, in fact, we've never had a break."
Chibnall also assured that for the time being, fans will not have to get used to a new lead role, as is often said: Jodie Whittaker (36, "Broadchurch") also remains in the twelfth season of the BBC series Doctor Who.
