Dishonest neighbors? Then you can not order from H & M anymore

What happened?

Anyone who has ordered something on the Internet, knows the feeling that the order NEVER arrives. But in the case of Christiane Engel, that was actually the case: The Cologne woman was surprised that eight days after her H & M order, no package had arrived. And on demand, she learned that her order had simply been completely deleted.

Order deleted? How come?

Christine also asked that. Compared to the Cologne "Express" she said that she had confused pointed to be a regular customer for many years. And she promptly received the shocking answer: the entire street would no longer be supplied; there would have been "too much".

The entire street?

Yes, indeed - there was just a flat rate a complete road for the supplies of H & M locked. A spokeswoman assured that this would be unusual, but that "many frauds and ongoing debt collection procedures" would have necessitated this step.

Can that happen to me too?

Maybe yes. The company has confirmed that it is extremely unusual to block a complete road - but a "flashy" house number is definitely excluded from the order.

In other words, if a neighbor in the same house has not behaved correctly, no other tenant can order?

Apparently yes. It is not completely incomprehensible that H & M does not always want to fall for the same fraud - it's just unfair to the honest neighbors in the same building.

Can not you do anything there?

However, in the case of Christine Engel, H & M has already called in: she has now received her delivery, even at the expense of the house, as a small indemnity.

So: In times of doubt like to complain?

Exactly: All in all, H & M wants to sell things rather than refuse delivery. And if a fraudulent tenant lives in the house, perhaps you can clarify that with the customer service - and in the future think carefully which neighbor you want to entrust the mailbox and flower-casting service on holiday.
