Diet coach Adam Gilbert reveals his 5 best weight loss tips

Adam Gilbert has been running the website "Mybodytutor" for about a decade, offering a slimming program. The numerous success stories, which he shares on Instagram, speak for the success of the diet coach. In conversation with "Greatist.com" he has now revealed his 5 best weight loss tips!

1. Have more fun again!

With all the stress and the hustle and bustle, one thing often falls by the wayside: the fun. Keep a piece of joy in your everyday life, because fun for a certain cause is the key to binge eating. Whether it's sports, drawing, dancing or cooking, find out what you enjoy and then do it. Because let's be honest: our mood has a significant influence on our food choice.

2. Understands that the diet accounts for 80 percent of weight loss.

Do you also know the people who constantly run to the gym, but nothing changes on the body? That's probably because they eat wrong. Because: The right diet accounts for 80 percent of weight loss - it is, so to speak, the key to weight loss success. Sport is great for conditioning, energetic, good-humored and fit. Ultimately, the training but only 20 percent of weight loss.

3. Prepare Your Food (Meal Prep!)

Meal Prep has become more and more popular in recent years - rightly so. Pre-planning your food for the next week prevents you from eating unhealthy fast food or sweets. People who are hungry, stressed or tired often make bad food choices. Proper planning definitely helps with weight loss.

4. Find out if you are REALLY hungry

When the afternoon down comes, many people resort to cake and Co., after all, the hunger is there. Gilbert divides here into two categories: the emotional and the physical hunger. Physical hunger can be satisfied with food, emotional hunger not. He recommends the broccoli test here! Just ask yourself: Am I so hungry that I would eat broccoli now? If the answer is no, you are not really hungry.

5. Choose a sustainable way

Many people try one diet after the next - and find no satisfaction or hoped-for weight loss. Much more meaningful is a sustainable change in diet. Before you eat something, you should ask yourself: Can I imagine eating this ingredient for the next five years? The answer is "no"? Then away with it.

Meet Jill. 53 pounds gone with MBT. Her motivation to get in shape were her children. More importantly, I am looking for a good role model for them in their health, and I could see all the signs that I was passing my bath habits onto them and wanted to change it before it was too late. " She had tried all sorts of things since college. None of them stuck because they were unsustainable. Like many, she knew what she should. I didn't think that was a session every other week what going to work. " Thankfully, she eventually heard about us. One of the many differences in their delivery - daily support and accountability I knew this was going to be a different experience from my first feedback from my tutor It 's just a matter of learning how to read my blog and how to do it on a daily basis. How did it go? "My goals were to develop healthier eating habits and lose 40 pounds and I had lost my goals for both." I don? t feel like this is? plan? following? I could not have done this without MBT! I'm so grateful. Jill wrote justice! In her story, she does all the things she's tried and said in detail, why she did not want to be a conventional trainer or nutritionist, her issue with some health coaches, how she found out about us, and the "secret" of the shirt she's wearing in the photo.
