Deutschland86: In the autumn it's finally time for the sequel
Amazon has announced the launch date for "Deutschland86". The sequel to "Deutschland83" is scheduled to premiere on 19 October at Prime Video. The new season includes ten episodes and is the fourth German Prime Original series after "You Are Wanted", the eighth season of "Pastewka" and the fourth season of "Der Lack is off".
That's what the new season is all about
The sequel to the critically acclaimed series "Deutschland83" plays, as the title suggests, three years after the events of its predecessor. The focus is on Martin Rauch (Jonas Nay, 27), whose aunt Lenora (Maria Schrader, 52) and her comrades from the HVA, the former foreign intelligence service of the GDR. His mission takes Martin to South Africa, Angola, Libya, Paris, West Berlin and back to the GDR.
