Why is this dangerous for my dog?

Dogs can become infected through contact with wild boars (when walking in the woods) or when they eat wild boar meat. That's why the advice is: Do not feed your dogs with wild boar meat and make sure that your four-legged friends do not come into contact with live or dead wild boars.

What can happen to my dog ​​in pseudo-rage?

For dogs, pseudo-rage is fatal in most cases. First symptoms are difficulty swallowing and itching. At least one dog had to be euthanized after he had become infected while biting a wild boar while hunting.
